I think the MIDI OUT enabled (green) doesn't send any MIDI data out of Rhino2. If it is diabled I can record the slider movings with my FLStudio. So this knob should be called "MIDI OUT OFF"!
Thanks for the better settings of notes in the step sequencer!

I'll have to check, but when disabled, Rhino sends out normal vst automation instead of midi automation.

Make no mistake: this is a killer synth
I
the pads - just listen to the preset "In the forest".
This synth is worth every € (thanks granny). Also the presets by Daniel are amazing.
Thank you Big Tick!

Question:
Is there ever going to be one of those cool giveaways like what they did with Cameleon? Rhino seems like a very interesting synth to me, but I'd like to test out some other patches than the ones in the demo bank, which apparently don't really give me a good representation of what the synth can sound like. And it's not like I'm going to buy it just so I can hear what it sounds like... especially when you consider that I probably wouldn't be able to buy it even if I did hear some more patches and was blown away.
So that's my question. Or maybe you could release a version that emits noise periodically but allows you to load patches? Or maybe that's useless to you, since I've already admitted that I'm not going to be making the purchase whether I like what I hear or not, and most other people seem to be satisfied with the default patchbank... but still, it would be cool for me

Well it's either this, or the current system. Tne periodic noise limitation is highly unpopular so it was ruled out.you could release a version that emits noise periodically but allows you to load patches?
You'd ask, "Why not have both" ? Basically because it would then be a matter of hours till a cracked version is out in the wild. That's the sad reality.
I *may* release some more presets to run with the demo, as I've already started to make some presets on request.

or you could go through a couple of the extra banks, hold a note for 5 sec for each preset and make an mp3 of the result. Gives people an idea of whats out there.

There are mp3 demos of a few extra banks on my site. Click the little speaker icon next to the banks

Any new skins yet? I'm particularly interested in a smaller version.

Not true. The new skin system is quite flexible, and allows to redefine the location / size of all items. But then, designing such a skin takes an awful lot of time...

That's excellent news. Would it take just as long to simply scale the existing skin? My trouble is that it fills my working area, so the palettes I need to keep open cover important areas and must be constantly rearranged. A 75% size would work great.
I guess I could move up to a higher resolution, but I have to keep this resolution for my job, and would have to change just for Rhino, then change back.
Now that I think of it, there's a feature I don't think any other synth has, size scaling
