Cheap crossgrade to Kontakt using Sennheiser "free" DrumMic'a

It's unbelievable.... I was searching a way to buy Kontakt in the marketplace because second hand is cheaper, and found someone who maybe can sell a crossgrade and from him I heard this free drum mmic a crossgrade.......
I didn't even thought something like this can be real ....
399 Eur "original price", but after installing a free software,
"As an owner of DrumMic'a you qualify to install and activate this version." - you are eligible to crossgrade
only for 249 Eur..... that's 150 Eur difference.......
As much as I like this, in the same amount I dislike this "product selling technique" - I think it's not fair....

1) This "promo" is just what I seek nowadays, to get kontakt cheaper, and this was hidden information.
NI site don't state it, and in KVR I also didn't know this topic.
So even those who seek a cheaper way, they may not find this - it's not fair,

2) Not fair for those, who pays full price for Kontakt....

3) It's not logical that a freeware software makes 150 Eur / USD discount

etc.....

You know what, forget this fair / not fair debate, this is marketing, right?

What are some of you "cross-grading" from?

Sennheiser DrumMic'a which you can get for free. After you sign up you get a personalized serial code that you can register with the NI Service center. Once it's registered you are then eligible for the Crossgrade price to the full version.

So to get Kontakt 5 which retails at $299 for the cross-grade price is quite the bargain, and it was even more so during the summer of sound sale.

I know this is an old thread but since NI has the same exact sale going on I went on the sennheiser website found where to download Drumic'a but where do i sign up to recieve a serial code? Google translate doesnt translate the whole page just certain parts and i dont read or speak german.

I don't know if your're going all the way to Ultimate but if so and you are in the EU you can crossgrade to Kontakt, then download version of Komplete whilst waiting for the small Ultimate box to be delivered. I think it cost me an extra £0.50 and didn't have to spend ages downloading ultimate.

I'd like to thank everyone here for posting this useful information for crossgrade to Kontakt. Now the only dilemma is whether to get Kontakt 5 now for €250 or wait for Black Friday and see if the crossgrade gets a discount again
