Have no idea how the capital would cost out in that case.

I remember when they bought it it was "doomsday" and actually it appears that overall it's a better product than when I was using it.

Well, whomever they'd sell it to, they'd need to find a way to diminish the damage done by fanboyism. Fanatic Cakewalk fans and this (very nice, to be fair) guy Anderson, who replied to each and every forum post, were one of the reasons why I've quit Sonar. Their forums came with an 'air of unprofessionalism' that really deterred me. Kind of irrational, I know. Then again, you cannot really choose your followers, I guess.

I think anyone looking into buying CW is going to need a strong intestinal system to handle the bashers, fanboys, strollers, trollers, sodding sodders....all that in a city with no air.

BTW... Platinum crashed 2x on me. Opposed to untold numbers for other versions....

I think Cakewalk need to trim their portofolio and focus on their best stuff, which would be Sonar

It was a bold move to upgrade their plugs to Rapture Pro, but it doesn't make the cut
