in '91 I upgraded my Amiga 500 from 1MB to 3MB, cost me 2990FIM because of A590+ hdd controller, 21MB HDD and memory...

In '82 I upgraded my ZX81 from 1K to 16K and I could have bought a house... oh well, it was about £80 (plus VAT), IIRC. (That's £274.31 in today's prices... so 32Gb would cost... £574,619,648. So several houses...)

Think of the categories as "from x to y" - vote 16gb.

If you use from x to y, vote x. I have 32Gb but, because I only use 28Gb (it's gone up), I had to vote 16Gb.

i've found that 8gb is good even if you use quite a bit of sampled instruments.. above there and one will likely run into trouble keeping stable with various motherboard combos..
