It would be better to create a new poll than ask me. You are the developer.
I like the second sugestion more: one plugin for all kinds of sounds (kicks, snares, hats, claps, all kind of percusions and crazy drum sounds...).
I have old notebook, but KickR always needs max. 1% CPU, so I have no problem with inserting more "KickeRs" (lets say eight) into project - one for each sound: Kick, Kick 2, Snare, Snare 2, Hat, Hat 2, Cymbal, Swoosh FX (or some kind of strange/original sound) - and make a drum pattern in my DAW.
If it is possible to create one plugin that can do that, it would be good. But maybe just for me. 1000 peoples, 1000 ideas. AudioThing released really good Clap plugin, now Hat/cymbal plugin... but my question is: would you like to follow this model and create plugin for each sound or make one really powerful drum plugin?

One plugin with all possibilities at once won't really happen. It would be too messy.
The reason KickR is so cheap on CPU is because once you've tweaked your kick to your desire it saves it internally as a sample and the just run sample playback which is a lot cheaper than generating all real time.
The other drums in DrumR are a bit different, every hit will sound a little little bit different to give variations and stereo imaging and stuff like that.
Single drums of the other will still be quite cheap on the CPU, just not as cheap as KickR.
The reason I had the idea of making a single-mode DrumR is that making a release takes some work. First do all builds 32/64 VST/AU OSX/Win and then update homepage with new downloads and then write news item on KVR, testing etc. Single-mode on DrumR would be that times 1 and one for each kind would be times 5 (kick, hihat, tom, snare, cymbal).
I've seen the AudioThing clap and hihat VST threads. They are in a sense like two of the DrumR part-drums in single VSTs. They seem nice with pretty nice and clear GUI and stuff, I love the logo.
Having separate products completely has its perks too of course. We'll see what future holds.
