How many programmers are involved with making this synth?
Hehe,
I'm William (as my nick sugguests), workingstudent (developer) at u-he since Oktober.
I think all of the developers worked on RePro at least at some point (direct or indirect). It varies.

Cheers

Good to know there is a team, like u-hertha Berlin

Very interesting thread so far, imho.

How many of you that have used, or are still using, real analog think that RePro1 still sounds a little bit 'algoish' ?

Or is it a step up compared to all the other soft synths available?...or maybe it's just a little early to ask/make an opinion.

Filter Four is the winner for me. Nicely done. I think if I had control over some osc slop I could get really close to one of my favorite analogs.

Is this supposed to respond to midi notes?

Mode set to envelope I get no sound no matter what the envelope settings are. IN gate mode it sound is constant, even when DAW is stopped. This is same with all other mode setting changed.

Urs, beside what filter is what, i like the sound of repro-1 very very much!

Is filter 1 the filter of an aged Prophet?

Osc slop coming for sure. The current "impossible to reach no beating" setting is just a placeholder until we analysed a bunch of CEM3340s.

It should work... our support team will be available from tomorrow again, maybe just reach out to support at u-he dot com...

is this what you'd call aliasing on filter 1?

I wouldn't expect the aliasing to be that loud or as dynamic. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure those can be considered artifacts versus aliasing. What do I know though? Best to let the experts chime in.

Get rid of all the modulation. You can hear the aliasing with just the filter resonance up and sweeping the cutoff. Turn the osc volumes right the way down to 0, and cutoff mod too. It is right there.

Not sure. It's unpleasant, but then, it may be possible to get with the other modes as well?

I see what you mean. But that's not specific to a mode or is it?
