I'm using ASIO Roland Quad-Capture and Studio One Professional 3.2.1.

Main problem is the Quad-Capture loses connectivity with Studio One regularly, especially when connected to another app through virtual midi port.

Solution for getting Quad-Capture back is usually unplugging from usb port and plugging back in and trying to kill Studio One.exe in task manager if it's still running. Sometimes only a computer reboot gets everything back.

Does Studio One behave this way with other external soundcards, or is it the Quad-Capture?
Any recommendations for soundcard that would prevent the issues I'm having?

Have you checked the Power options in windows? If not, then I suggest to set it to High Performance and be sure that USB devices check box is not set to sleep.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I would suggest to test the Roland driver with another host (like Reaper for example), so you would know then if it is Ralond's fault or Presonus.

It is most likely the interface's fault. I had the same problem with an older roland interface.

thanks for letting me know; I needed to get more familiar with it anyway; I think I had usb port selective sleep enabled in Windows, so I disabled it.

Mine used firewire, so maybe it's not the protocol itself.
