Hey I'm looking for some a good but very simple (plus easy on the CPU) I can use for live.
I've recently been using my DAW which is Reaper to just line up tracks and isn't very live-friendly at all so I wanna step it up a bit.
I won't be doing any crazy beat matching or mixing just something with a nice interface I can see the wavelength with so I know when the track will end so I can queue up another one.
I'll be running my laptop into an SP-404 for effects.
I've checked out Serato software and looks pretty decent and simple to use... (can you buy the software alone)?
Any other suggestions?
I'd like to have a list of all my beats lined up in order of playback too'
Cheer y'all

Have you checked Mixxx out..http://www.mixxx.org/ ?
There's an informative review here...http://djtechtools.com/2016/01/06/revie ... -software/. Quote "The software has been built up the point where if all you need is a dead-simple piece of DJ software without any of the frills, this is the best and cheapest bet.". Sounds promising.
