1) I'm afraid, a system-shortcut would affect other software. Why not ship the docs with the installation and make it accessable via F1 as any other software does? It's about 5MB only as a .zip ...mutools wrote:What about making such shortcut on your system? That would solve it too.nenneb wrote:Today I ask for a (small but useful) feature:
As I use my studio-PC offline without internet-connection, I copied the manual/docs into a folder. Unfortunately the link to the help docs is hardcoded. I also did not find a way to get it by shortcut-key.
It would be great to have the help-file-location set in the preferences. Thank you in advance.
Next version: Shift+click on rewind button = rewind to start. Please add a "rewind to start" button (I work around with shortcut)
What's wrong with the current markers? They can contain any text. Please add "info-markers", so one can note chords or other memos.
2) Shift-click is great (although I'd prefer an extra button anyway
3) Well, there's nothing "wrong" with the current markers. But imagine a jazzy chord progression with a new chord every half or quarter bar. The current markers draw vertical lines and the curser will stop at every single one - that will make rewinding useless. That's why I think of an additional marker-line in the ruler, add/delete markers similar to notes in editor, allow copy and paste, and those markers don't affect the cursor or project in any way. Only they are visable at any time for information.
4) One more wish that I forgot yesterday: Could we get an option to start at 0:0:0:0 instead of 1:0:0:0? That's useful if you have a pre-hit (eg. rimshot), or notes starting a bit earlier for groove or timing reasons, or a singer taking breath, or ... All project calculation could start at 1:0:0:0 anyway as we are used to.
