That doesn't sound practical at all if it contains 50+ notes.

When you want to add a small variation to the pitch of many midi notes in the Simpler channel how do you usually achieve this?
In FL I could do it through Tool-Randomize in pianoroll and just turning a knob. In Live should I open Envelope Editor, select time frame and drag it up or down for all notes? That doesn't sound practical at all if it contains 50+ notes.

There are many m4l patches that can humanize, and you can always route out from one track to another record the humanized output
The one other method you can try is applying a groove from the groove pool and adjust the random %, that was the usual method before m4l
However this is all timing humanization, not pitch. If you really want a random pitch just use the random device

In Simpler it's easy. Just set the LFO to S&H, take the longest time division (so it doesn't change while playing a note) and set it to retrig. Then apply to pitch to taste.
