I got enough real analogue synths here to know what analogue sound is.
I tested RePro One in every situation and configuration.
If you know how to use analogue synths you will hear that filter 4 is the only one.

Just Filter 4 can be the right one!!!
Other opinions than filter 4 got no idea what analogue sound is!
Do you have a Pro One?
Forget it. This post is clearly a joke (or else, it's plainly stupid).

I noticed there seemed to be more controls on the video (for RePro) above than the alpha version I used.
You can hear my original music at this link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/defau ... dID=224436

Yes, this alpha version basically is a free version to test the whole filter thing. The full version will have the full features of the Pro-1, but it won't be free anymore, of course. It also won't have the filter selection anymore (kind of the whole point of this test). At least that's how I understand it.

Why they designed a guy for the full version with the filter selection still enabled, I don't know. A lot of this stuff probably still is very alpha-ish anyway. Features may come and go until the final release.

Yep, that's correct. We kept the filter selection for the trade show in order to show both, the Pro-One's full feature set and the filter evaluation process.

Ahh, that makes sense!

You won't include the sequencer and arpeggiator part of the original in your emulation, I guess? I mean, it's awesome on the hardware, but not really needed in a software version, in my opinion.

I'd like both of those to be included in the software

Wouldnt be an emulation if it didnt have them

Agreed. And drop the presetbrowser.

And host automation only if you add the $250 retrofit-kit.

I'd love a modern analogue style sequencer VST. There are some out there but the only one that has a decent feature set is Thesys - however the GUI on that is way too fiddly.

It could be something like a wrapper that could hold any VST and would let you sequence not only notes but any control you fancied. Maybe have a page of unlimited and freely assignable LFOs, too.

I'm rambling.

You know, even though I grew up around the time of this synth, I never owned one. I was more into Moog, ARP and Oberheim stuff. Truth is, the only Sequential Circuits synth that made any noise in my neck of the woods was the Prophet 5, which was just way too rich for my blood at the time.

I guess if U-he can do a really authentic emulation of this, it'll give me kind of a 2nd chance at owning this thing.

How pleasant when people respectfully exchange ideas and opinions, leaving room for others to disagree with theirs. Really... like a breath of fresh air...

Mac, Logic, some synths, software, stuff and unstuff, with and without knobs
