It sounds decent in this video, but not earth shattering.

1. putting you on needle of software modular - so one would buy couple modules per month and pay pay pay
2. presets and replication - copy hw config to sw and enjoy instant recalls

Cheers 4 the vid!
Sounds pretty good. I really like the idea of the performance window. Filter sounds pretty cool as well it's one to demo tho'.

Am I the only one who is disappointed by the lack of realistic drooping patch cords, Reason-style? The design they came up with seems so cheap and lame compared to the rest of the realistic GUI.

Looks like it'll be touch friendly though, the only others I can think of (for Windows) that can be comfortably patched with fingers is the modular in Caustic and Audulus.deastman wrote:Am I the only one who is disappointed by the lack of realistic drooping patch cords, Reason-style? This actually looks like you can go mouse-less at least that's what I'm hoping.
Kind of wish I didn't sell Heartbeat (At least I doubled my money

Ironically the patching is very similar to a Reaktor modular series (RUHR)deastman wrote:Am I the only one who is disappointed by the lack of realistic drooping patch cords, Reason-style? The design they came up with seems so cheap and lame compared to the rest of the realistic GUI.

It has a very authentic and hw-like sound, no glitches so far.
I do not need the look of the cable spaghetti physics, it is better than in real life: when you hover over a module, connections to and from that module will be displayed, all the rest are still shown dimmed.

Another one... this is the beta version of Softube Modular, a single pulse oscillator and the Doepfer filter driven by a basic step sequencer pattern through a simple delay. Please take into consideration that Youtube necessarily degrades audio quality, so this sounds better in real life.

Would have been better if you uploaded the wav file to Soundcloud. Sounds terribly distorted. In fact, sounds awful. I refuse to believe that this synth sounds this bad.tripleflows wrote:Another one... this is the beta version of Softube Modular, a single pulse oscillator and the Doepfer filter driven by a basic step sequencer pattern through a simple delay. Please upload a better sound demo to a platform that can at least do this synth justice.
Unless of course it really does sound like crap.
