Listening to it more at home (on better speakers than work), I'm now thinking that this tune is really shortchanged by not having a proper ending! Is it going to get one eventually?

well, I tend not to do traditional endings anymore
(probably years of gettting hastled by dj's)

the new version (ready soon) basically grooves out then fades quickly.

I doubt I will add one now due to time but will remember that for my next tune.

Question: what do you use for brass? I know you have a sax player in Soul Immigrants, but I hear brass in there too.

This is truly amazing music.

hey, lots of archive stuff there (when I worked with real human musicians

)

the brass section is all one guy, Mike Parlett.

he is playing all brass, flute, soprano, tenor, barritone, alto, then overdubbed with some VL70M brass laters on a WX7.

ps, the whole soul immigrants album can be found on soulseek. let me know and I will load up soulseek so you can download, dont worry about copyright.
