damn -_- well, it looks like a false positive.. I have my development computer pristine clean and protected. I'll try to figure out why the installer triggers that. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yeah, Avast perhaps isn't the best antivirus, and I was also running it in silent mode so had no idea about this action. Anyway, thanks for the help, now to testing Polaris

@GaryG: thank you! I do always try to get clean GUIs, with a "less is better" approach. There's a big room for improvements tho.

@.jon: as far as I remember, Avast should also work on a reputation basis.. so new files may trigger a false positive until they are tagged as legit. I'll hope you're going to like Polaris!

Absolutely wonderful sounds, very easy to tweak reverbation to perfectly suit the source. Suprisingly versatile as well, does even crazy special fx.

It's amazing how sometimes a particular set of controls, maybe due to being arranged in a specific way, seem to make things happen so easily.

Polaris has been updated to v1.0.2

Changelog
- NEW: Windows XP SP3 support
- FIX: preset recall on init
- FIX: Echo Time Mode recalled incorrectly causing unwanted spikes
- FIX: Tempo sync issues

Does anyone have NI Replika and Polaris?

They seem to have some similarities.

Polaris updated to v1.1 introducing some new features: Shimmer, Sample Rate reduction and Stereo Width (Ping Pong delay).

Changes
- NEW: Shimmer.
- NEW: Sample Rate reduction (with 4-point interpolation)
- NEW: Width (Ping Pong Delay style).
- NEW: More presets.
- FIX: Echo Tune Mode won't go back to ms.
- FIX: Improved knobs resolution.

As usual, you can update by downloading the latest demo installer from the product page.

Wow, impressive sounding update!

I have so many delays/echos/reverbs at this stage that I've barely scratched the surface of what they can do. Maybe I can do all this with what I already have, but this looks great. Definitely on my radar if I feel the need to buy yet another one.
