pheeleep wrote::hyper: Zero-G TOTAL SNARE DRUMS and TOTAL BASS DRUMS 24 hour sale. Pretty sure this is the first time these are on sale. I have been eye balling them for a while..

10,750 kicks and 10,360 snares with Zero-G quality for $30. What a steal. :phones: That's $0.0014 per sound.. :hihi:
After having checked out 21k(!) snare and bass drum sounds, I doubt I would still want to use drums in my music at all :hihi:
Actually I bought these a few months ago on sale for the Octatrack and they are a surprisingly really good collection of BD and SN's :)
There are lots of great Kick drums (haven't checked out the snares yet) but a lot of the bass drum wav files have clicks at the end. Did you notice this? I emailed Zero-G today to ask them about this. When I preview them I hear a click at the end. When I load them in an editor, I see the click at the end. Seems like these were kind of sloppily "auto-chopped" as so many of the samples have clicks at the end. Now don't get me wrong I don't really mind removing the clicks for the samples that I will use (after all every 10 presets cost me 1 cent) but it's a bit sloppy and I am surprised seeing this from Zero-G who are usually top notch. Anyway, let's see what they have to say about this. I didn't try the Kontakt patches but since they load the same samples, they must also be full of clicks (?)
I haven't noticed any clicks myself, but I just made sample chains for the Octatrack and I do use the release time which may be masking them from me. I've just loaded a few random selections into sound forge and they all seemed ok. I've only used about 7 of the categories so far and they are nice and punchy.
There were definitely clicks ;) The good news is that Zero-G just emailed me to let me know that they went through the sounds and removed the clicks and updated the download files. So, I am about to re-download them using my download link. You might want to do the same.
Play it by ear

oh, great, thanks for letting me know :) I think my download link will have expired by now though.

They don't expire for at least a year, you just need to login to your Zero-G profile to get at them

Downloading now, thanks to you both :)

Wait...you were the first to notice? How long has this product been around?

Computer Music reviews pointed out about the clicks a long time ago.

"Spitfire Audio Wishfest - 24 Hours to Make Your Wish Lists"

For many composers in the UK April 15th spells the end of 4 months of scrimping and saving. With a four month royalty gap and everyone’s tax bills rinsing us out at the end of January, the cupboard is often bare, the well dry and our pub tabs are making us avoid eye contact with the landlord. As a collective of composers and music makers we always find an excuse to celebrate the end of this royalty fast, and with the kids back to school after Easter Hols there’s all the more reason to let our hair down!

So this year we’ve decided to share the love worldwide and follow this Christmas’ popular treat with another wish list bonanza. Make sure you fill up your wish list on our site over the next 24 hours and you never know, they just may come true!

Thank you (and monark) for this! :tu:
Especially in the mid-basses folder i found really nice ones. Sure i will use them.
The chords are nice too. After a few seconds playing around my favorite is the "red snapper". Indeed snappy!
