Here is a short video demonstrating layer key-switching using different arp patterns per layer:Sampleconstruct wrote:If you setup the arp on layer level, you can use multiple layers using multiple settings/presets, then you can switch between the layers with key-switches.lxegs wrote:Hi All
Just a quick question for falcon gurus :
is it possible (via midi CC or by any way) to change the preset in the arpegiator through ableton ?
i cannot find a way to do that

You can of course do the same on Program/Part Level which allows your Program to consists of multiple layers.

This may be a real dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer: Can Falcon be used AS an effect as well, or are all those effect just internal to the instrument?
I traded for Falcon and should be getting it, soon!

Falcon can't be used as an FX insert.Blue Phase Music wrote:This may be a real dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer: Can Falcon be used AS an effect as well, or are all those effect just internal to the instrument?

I have suggested it, I think it would make a great multi FX unit. I would not be averse to paying for this as a crossgrade sort of thing.Blue Phase Music wrote:This may be a real dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer: Can Falcon be used AS an effect as well, or are all those effect just internal to the instrument?

Thank you. That's what I thought, but I figured I'd ask, anyway.wagtunes wrote:Falcon can't be used as an FX insert.Blue Phase Music wrote:This may be a real dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer: Can Falcon be used AS an effect as well, or are all those effect just internal to the instrument?

I just didn't know if it had the option, like Zebra/Zebrify.

Seems like it would be a no-brainer kinda thing.

Yes, ability to use as FX insert would make this product unstoppable. I think sales would be through the roof.

The question is this. Are any of the FX in Falcon sold as a stand alone product? If the answer is yes, then Falcon's FX will never be allowed to be used as an FX insert. It is for this reason that Omnisphere's FX can't be used that way as they licensed FX from another company. UVI isn't going to cut into its own sales if any of the FX in Falcon are sold elsewhere.

Well, then you have your answer. Isn't going to happen.woodsdenis wrote:Spark reverbwagtunes wrote:The question is this. Are any of the FX in Falcon sold as a stand alone product? They could still do it the same way Softube are planning for the modular synth where if you already own Heartbeat you get the Heartbeat modules free, if not you have to pay. So for people who already own Sparkverb it could be unlocked in the FX version, for everyone else it could be an in app purchase but everything else is included. It would still be worth it with all the other great effects. Works for things like MXXX Core.wagtunes wrote:Well, then you have your answer. That way they could even add things like a Relayer module too.

Or they could just omit the otherwise available products from the FX version. Seems even easier.
