Come on, fess up - you guys kidnapped Sean Valhalla didn't you :)

Sounding wicked and seriously good price.

Is the Shimmer generating 5ths or pure octaves? It's sounding quite smooth considering.

Post

Sean is GOD to me eheheheh He's one of my DSP gurus and I've so much to learn from him and other fellow developers around. Programming reverbs is something amazing and really time consuming. My implementation of the shimmer technique sounds different from his one, while mine is hardcoded at pure octaves (like some shimmer pedals on the market).

Cheers,
Luca

It does remind me of the Strymon blueSky :)

You are definitely flattering me ahahahah Thank you very much :D

Impossible to resist with the latest additions... :help:

Thank you guys!

Here's a demo Maliki Ramia wrote for Epic SoundLab Maliki Adventure Drums, remixed using exclusively Polaris as reverb.

Sorry, but there's a slight problem with your shop - I'ld gladly pay you 35€ for Polaris, but living in Switzerland I won't pay EU VAT - not gonna happen...

Post

Hi Jens. Our payment processor takes care of all the VAT related fees, and Switzerland applies 8% VAT rate on goods and services.

when I tried to purchase, it didn't ask for my location...

but seriously: that us even a lot weider! What are you going to do with the 8% ? Pass it on to the Swiss tax office? I'm sure they'll be happy about EU citizens trying to do their job.

If you are EU based and someone from outside the EU purchases from you, adding any VAT whatsoever is not correct. Go to (e.g.) Thomann, add something to the cart, add a Swiss invoice adress that is also the shipping adress and see what happens... ;-)

Post

Hi Jens,
I don't collect VAT fees.. my payment provider (FastSpring) does and since their yearly revenue in Swizterland exceed Swiss threshold, they are forced to collect VAT according to Swiss law: https://support.fastspring.com/hc/en-us ... x-handled-
Switzerland VAT
When a company's yearly revenue in Switzerland exceeds a certain threshold, that company is required by law to collect and pay VAT in Switzerland. FastSpring has exceeded this minimum threshold, so sales made to customers located in Switzerland will have VAT.

Extra EU customers are not charged for VAT.

Hope this helps clarifying what's going on.
Cheers,
Luca

Oh, I see - thanks for clearing that up! Never even heard of such a threshold. Anyway, all good then! :tu: :-D

Post

Thanks to you, Jens. I know all of that VAT and EU bureaucracy are very annoying for both customers and us.
Enjoy Polaris! :)

Luca
