Anyone got the latest issue of CM?
Theres a vocoder been added to the CM studio and they've got a tutorial to use it with Muzys. You need to put a modulator signal into left and carrier into the right. So CM-101 is the carrier and a drum loop (which they forgot to put on the CD!) is the modulator. It's all aux sends and shit.
How in the blue f**k do I do this in Tracktion?

Sort of got it working with a rack. But how do I stop the drums from passing through?

Maybe they're not? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to hear but it does still sound a bit drummy. Sound quite cool when you finger a note for a while then introduce more gradually so your making a chord. When you hit the root of the chord (I'm starting at the top) it sounds like toms kicking in. Like!

run a vocal part through it using the synth as a modulator and you'll hear better what it is doing and whether you have it set up right.

That leads me to my next question. The only mic I have is me webcam one. Other software recognises it and lets me use it as well as my soundcard (eg Live). But not T?
OH f**k. I just worked out that live was using DirectX so I've answered my own question. ASIO can't see my webcam. But the DirectX driver on T can't see it either.
Why "OH f**k"? Cos I just fired up Live, monitoring was on, my webcams ON TOP OF MY RIGHT SPEAKER!! Switched to the DX driver and I hit the f**king roof! Shat myself! Feedback did you say!? I'm still shaking.

I've been having fun using it with fxpansion's Mysteron and various other instruments ranging from microTonic to Mr. Ray. The Mysteron interface allows a very wide range of tone on drums, etc.
This is in a rack in Tracktion.
