Starmap has landed.

Starmap Vol.1 is a Sci-Fi themed sound set for Dune 2 that is inspired by the idea of advanced space travel in a time when humanity becomes so overpopulated that finding a new habitable planet becomes essential.

This sound set focuses on complex atmospheres, layered drones, cinematic pads, ambient synths, and celestial keys. Starmap Vol.1 is the first part of a three part series in which each volume will focus on a different sound type. Vol.1 is centered around, but not limited to Atmospheres.

Sure. Nothing too complicated. Just used Cam Studio for the screen shot recording. Had Dune 2 in FL 11, and a custom background image inside of the DAW (you can change the background image in FL) Recorded it live on a separate audio recorder inside of FL and tried to sync the video and audio together afterwards though there is some lag.

Wow. Thank you very much. Tim Conrardy was/is one of the few handful of people who inspired me to delve into synth sound design in the first place. While i'll never be on his skill level that is still a huge honor to hear something like that.
