i checked a lot of demos and libraries, but still haven't found what i am really looking for, all the pianos seem to perfectly in tune. (at least my grand le is). why should anybody sample a piano that was outta tune?

are there any libraries or raw samples from a "outoftune" piano... not really honkytonk, that would be too much i guess, but more a realistic "couldn't afford the piano-tuner for the last two years and the piano is standing near the radiator" sound.

checked the demosong, sounds pretty much the direction i am looking for, i'll give it a try...

the MDA piano has a random tuning slider, even has an 'old school piano' preset.

Have you ckecked out the Rain Piano? It’s ”professionally detuned”.

Ah yes, the 4Front will get the job done for the detuned piano no problem.

The Bechstein at www.hammersound.net is out of tune.
