This one hasn't. The app on my iPad is still showing last month's issue as the newest. I guess it'll show up on the 20th. I never expected the magazines would appear any earlier than the street date.DarkStar wrote:^^^

Thanks for the gift, D16. Personally, it's a little aggressive for many sounds I've tried it on. However, down to mid-tempo drums; that's where it's at for me. Will definitely thwack it on the drum bus now and then

It's us old-fashioned ones who get the printed edition a few days before the shopssprnva wrote:This one hasn't. The app on my iPad is still showing last month's issue as the newest. Was expecting this to be magware only. What a pleasant surprise. I will be logging in later to grab it!
Was there an email about it? I don't seem to have gotten one.

That is my feeling too.. it is aggressive.. maybe even harsh sounding. Definitely has it's uses though.audiosabre wrote:Thanks for the gift, D16. Doesn't seem to include any presets, no, but that kind of makes sense with the feature set if you think about it. Kind of threw me at first, too. Looks "odd."Fleer wrote:Did you guys find any presets?

Yes, it's quite aggressive, but many limiters with auto-gain tend to be like that. Lowering the threshold and using more conservative settings make it behave in a more polite way.
I enjoy the "sparkle" it can give to high frequencies, and its overall color.
