You don't read your PM's much do you ?

Is this a myth or can it be done?

i'm thinking lighten buttons a tad....
Fantastic  I agree with you on the buttons - otherwise they look like strangely melting in the black square black background. Maybe giving them the same colour of the lighted part of the knobs (it makes sense, after all)
yeah, i think that did the trick!

Looks great! I Always thought OBX looks like a piece of industrial Equipment. When I was in the navy, years ago, we had Control panels up in the ships bridge, and those Control panels looked exactly like this :D ..and you captured it perfectly.

I've just downloaded this and gave it a try - it sounds great!
I'm just sorting through presets etc. I'm assuming you have to deal with presets etc through the DAW itself. I'm using SONAR so it's pretty straightforward.

I sent layzer a PM re: the skins. Are they actual "skins" or just a new dll that has the skin embedded in it?

Anyway - between this and dexed - there is a lot to play around with, and all for free! ;-)

Try the hidden randomness introducing options in your DAWs default synth GUI, they make the synth behave more like the real OB-X in filter and envelope tracking (look near the bottom of the parameter list).

I'm pretty sure the 64x dll in the site is now with a strange pink/alu skin

You mean this one?

Here they are (for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit):
http://black.winny.free.fr/MAO/OBXD/OBX ... leases.zip

Take them in the chronological descending order ("OBXD[32or64] - YYYYMMDDHHMM"), and you'll sure find the last one made with the original skin.

Please forgive me, as I haven't played with this until this week. Also I haven't read all 158 pages here (maybe just the last 10-12).

There must be some differences in functionality in thoses older versions - rather than just the skin (?)
Maybe the ones from April 2014 are pretty much the same? (there are 7 from April 2014)

I also like the grey one, but the knobs are just a tad too large which makes it look a bit cluttered IMHO

Bonjour à tous!
Hi everybody!

Thanks to Yeager (Thank you Yeager !) I've just updated my three zip files to add to them the special version that Filatov (aka 2DaT) made in September 2014 with hidden features and that I was missing.

It exists only in 32-bit for Windows. Don't ask for a OSX version or for a 64-bit version, it seems that Filatov never made them. And beware, as an prior warning, to decline any responsibility he wrote this:
2DaT wrote:It is beta, it may crash/explode/stutter, so be aware.
It was here:

So my three zip files are now updated to contain this "special hidden features edition". For the record, these three files are here:
  1. http://black.winny.free.fr/MAO/OBXD/OBX ... leases.zip
    • It contains all the successive 32-bit and 64-bit Windows "official" editions (including the special hidden features 32-bit edition).
  2. http://black.winny.free.fr/MAO/OBXD/OBX ... rsions.zip
    • It contains only the very last 32-bit and 64-bit Windows "official" editions (plus the special hidden features 32-bit edition)
    • plus the last OSX VST edition and the last OSX AU edition.
  3. http://black.winny.free.fr/MAO/OBXD/OBXD.zip
    • It contains everything:
      • A folder containing all the successive 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions (including the special hidden features 32-bit edition)
      • Plus a folder containing:
        • The last 32-bit and 64-bit Windows "official" version plus the special hidden features 32-bit edition edition
        • plus the last OSX VST edition and the last OSX AU edition.
      • Plus a folder containing all the zillions of presets.
