What is the best thing for real horns?

Other than real horns, duh, what gets the best real horn sounds? Is it a particular VST or is a sampled sound in a sampler the way to go?

there is a fairly good horn set available for the DS-404 , a sampler ...

The SAM stuff is great for orchestral brass. For pop/rock brass, this is the best I’ve heard:
