One possible bug I've noticed already, is that the time readout on the amp envelope nodes are incorrect and they don't line up / relate to the waveform drawn behind the envelopes. Hopefully they can fix it as it's only a minor issue.

Will be using this a lot :)

So the amp curves are logarithmic . To allow more control at the start of your waveform ( the most important part )

The waveform behind is just to show you the result. We could display the waveform on a logarithmic scale - but it would just look like a blip ;)

So it's a big of a combination. We tried the Iinear curves , but makes it just a bit more awkward to sculpt to he start of the sound

I get that yes.

It would be nice however, to have a pref then that allows the pitch and amp curves to line up with the waveform drawn on the interface. It's kind of strange otherwise, seeing the waveform not adapting to the points on the curves, especially given the zoom function which makes the added resolution for the attack available now anyway :)

I once thought I had mono for an entire year. It turned out I was just really bored...

I am not sure if i am keen on paying 10$ AUD tax when they really should not be charging that to people outside EU. It's not much sure but why pay it? I'll have to think about it.
That's weird. VAT doesn't apply for non-EU residents, just as you said, and therefore it wouldn't be correct or justified if it's added. Normally, an online shop recognizes your location and if your IP-address comes from inside the EU then the VAT of the corresponding country is applied (UK +XX%, Germany +XX%, and so on). In other words, since you're from Australia the webshop at SA shouldn't even know how much VAT it should add, let alone add any VAT rate from any EU-country by itself. I'd reach out for SA directly to see if they can fix this.

EDIT: Just checked it myself and noticed that the final price actually already includes VAT. So maybe it's just a display error or something in your case. I think that the overall price would be the same. So if you end up with ~ $35 it should be correct.

Great to see the changes in Kick 2, seems like they've really put a lot of effort into this!

One thing I'm not so keen on however is the way the Sonic Academy website now forces you to either store your card details with them, or if paying by paypal it sets up an agreement with Sonic Academy to take money whenever. I get that this was done to speed up the process for those that buy stuff regularly from them, but I would have liked to see the one-time payment option still exist as well.

Wow. Looks like exactly what i want from KICK, the filter on clicks especially although drag & drop import will be especially handy too. In fact it seems like every area has received the improvements it needed, and it was already the best. :)

I need to stay away from the whole producing thing for a while but will be upgrading this soon, i'm sure. Any idea how long the free artist pack promo will be on for?

For sure it's just a bug - you shouldn't be seeing the tax breakdown outside of the EU - your receipt should not show it after purchase as we geo ip locate you at time of purchase.

Will Kick 2 be installed side by side with Kick 1 or is it really an upgrade that will overwrite Kick 1?
I already have a number of favorite kicks in Kick 1 that I frequently use and I did create some of my own. I just want to make sure that nothing is lost or overwritten before I buy Kick 2.

Kick 2 looks awesome and the deal for existing customers is sweet. So thank you for that! :)
