Cool it on the herb dude

57 It's just coincidence, like rolling double sixes in a craps game

What we all must face is that as we get older, the chance of dying gets bigger

Im pretty sure the chance is 100% no matter what age you are.

Not trying to de-rail another thread, but the chance of catching cancer or heart disease for example unfortunately increases with age

If you want to play semantics, go right ahead

I would say if you smoke two packs a day, eat an all beef diet, and work in an asbestos plant, you could "catch" cancer.

Anybody can live as healthy as they want, but if one should happen to live in a place with Radon gas eminating from the ground, it doesn't matter :scared:

you can kinda read this thread in shortwave and get the effect.
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

You can "catch" both. For example, look at SBE (subacute bacterial endocarditis) or at the relationship between some viruses and cancer (e.g. papilloma virus). Yes, I know there are several factors involved, just saying like :-)

But, the main point, RIP Mr Lyons

Used to have a Negativland sticker on my car for years!

So why do you think that rolling double sixes in a craps game is a 'co-incidence'?

He could have lived 'forever' like Elizabeth.....

Edit, BTW... so they are not going to give back that diamond?

This one actually hits me harder than Prince.

I was a big fan of Negativland all through my 20's and beyond. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I used to listen to their radio show on KPFA, Over the Edge, all the time and I would occasionally call in to contribute my own audio to the confusion. I bought all of their albums, including the rare U2 album which I bought the day it was released. The concert they put on at the local community college will live on in my memory as one of the most amazing shows ever.

Sad news. :(
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.
