He's just a tosspot and between him and Kim will cause today's youth to be 50 IQ points lower than the previous generation.
I admit to lusting for Kim, she is just adorable, I love big women
Have a wank over the photoshop icon instead, that's all she is.

I heard you are at home Kanye. It only take a minute. :hyper:

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

In any case, i think this is blown way out of proportion. Noone said or meant that Kanye West should better be dead.

Okay well sure there are some fine lines when it comes to making jokes I suppose. If you decide to go ahead and think about this in a historical context then you should take into consideration the events behind the joke.

Yes there are probably people out there that feel suppressed, oppressed, neglected or excluded because they don't fit the mainstream societies expectations or mold. Does this mean we should mock them because they don't fit in? If i recall correctly that type of thinking in highschool was known as "bullying".

I think it would be more beneficial if we perhaps try to help them find a way to be comfortable, even if that means changing our expectations or ways of thinking?

This obviously goes further and can be extended well into the realms of historical sciences on why there are so many people suffering from a vast variety of problems. If people don't change the way we think about social issues, we will continuously dig ourselves deeper and deeper into the pit of ignorance.

I have seen so many people say "Learn to take a joke" or "I was just kidding, i am not actually racist" and you have to realize the hypocrisy behind such statements. Honestly it's stuff like that will make me literally want to face palm.

I suppose not everyone has had the chance to learn their history properly since I think it's very rarely and or accurately covered in Elementary school up until the end of High-school. Furthermore even those who have had the chance to go to university often won't touch upon the more intricate topics because it might not be covered in their studies. I think the best form of education on any matter is to see it with your own eyes, meet people who live it daily and ask questions. Try to imagine what it's like to wear their shoes.

The more we accept certain things as "okay to do" because someone else does it, doesn't necessarily make it okay. We all have to be accountable for our own actions and way of thinking, and to go ahead and say "well they did, so i guess its okay for me to do" is exactly what's wrong with the world now.

Sure Pop culture might go ahead and poke fun at stuff, which is often done as a form of satire which i have no problem with. However even still there is a fine line in what i consider acceptable forms of satire. Satire is often used to make changes, and is a great tool when used properly.

Btw this wasn't so much about the Kanye West joke, it was about your previous statement regarding jewish and black people jokes. I'm neither black or Jewish, but i simply wanted to share my view on why i think this type of thinking can be quite damaging.

Anyhow I'm done, I have to go back to work.
So shall we take a look at the history book now every time we do a general joke about a group of people? I don't think so. Neither do i think that noone from a supressed, neglected ethnical or religious minority is able to take a joke. Many jews fled from germany to the USA, and they have a much more open approach on the historic period where jews were persecuted and eliminated here. USA also has a history of anti-semitism. And still they're able to handle such things less sensitive than they're handled in germany for example. And as i said, it's not so much about the ethnic, or religious part, it's rather a loosening up about the hard-butted attitude certain people have about stuff like that. It's unfair, yes. Did you ever watch South Park? They do jew jokes all the time. And you wouldn't call the makers racists, or anti-semitist, would you? The less touchy we get in that regard, the less we care if people are jewish, black or whatever. Well, maybe america isn't that far yet, with all the fuss about a black president, and a black woman on a bank note. But they'll get there eventually.

Anyway, this is all way offtopic. If i offended you with what i wrote, i'm honestly sorry. I stand to what i wrote above though, i'm convinced that a less sensitive dealing with such things is the way to go.
Yes this is getting off topic, so i'll leave this alone now. We'll just have to agree to disagree, which is fine. No hard feelings, just the hope that eventually certain ways of thought will change. :tu:

I'm going to bow out of this Kanye West bash, because i think it's kind of silly and I have a bunch of editing work to do.

And second it implies that someone prefer to see kanye west dead. But of course, i know lot of american people seems to like dying for a good thing. At least this is what lot of big hollywood movies told me.
Is that a joke?

Why do people lust over that kardashian chick so much? I hate the "I can afford more botox than you can afford" look, her makeup application in the last few years is horrible (is she going for wax figure?), those boob are the definition of fake (I hate fake boobs)

Oddly, some of her pictures w/o makeup are not so bad.

Now, shes a babe compared to rihanna, but, there is nothing to get overly excited about.

Plus she had kuntya's baby.......ewwwww.

?

Personally, i feel terrible when a Honey bee dies after stinging me, let alone to see death as a "good" thing. I also tend to watch Independent movies as opposed to the generic Hollywood swill.

Despite what your, or our media tells you/us. We do have minds of our own.
Whether they are heard or not is another story.

Kind of surprised that one would rely on any media/propaganda for their source info in the first place.

Back to Kanye West.
Meh..

Because I don't follow his potty-mouthed-ness, I actually youtubed a bunch of his stuff today.
