We had a demo built, but the popup page was just a little bit too annoying, so we are reworking that.Boardwalk wrote:I don't see a demo either.
It will be available in the coming week at some stage i expect. The full version runs in demo mode incase there was an issue with the key - at least you can mess about whilst we look at it!
Our priority was to get the full version out - then upgrade the old preset packs for anyone that has bought them, then we'll get the demo sorted!

That's awesome for those who get to give it a test run before they decide to purchase. However, I'm now out 70 bucks. Considering that it was possible to get a refund for Kick 1, I had every right to assume it would be similar for Kick 2. It's lousy business.

I never purchased Kick 1 nor did I try it. Kick 2 is my first purchase. The product itself may be good, but it didn't suit my specific needs. Since there wasn't a demo, I really had to go on a hunch and purchase it.TheoM wrote:entraik wrote:bryansonic wrote:We had a demo built, but the popup page was just a little bit too annoying, so we are reworking that.Boardwalk wrote:I don't see a demo either.

no you did NOT if there was no refund policy in place that you knew of before you bought.. why, did you get a refund on kick 1? No wonder they are not refunding you again! I wouldn't!
No shoddy or lousy business with sonic academy, they are trustworthy, don't listen to this guy folks.
Clearly, they don't care about their customers if a demo for trial isn't even put up and it's just about bringing money in from their new product.

Those that have it, what do you think of Kick 2? I was thinking about buying Guda Audio DrumR or KickR. I've been using Vengeance Audio Metrum which is great, but I wish I would like to be able to use a kick plugin without a dongle. (Doesn't make sense they don't provide a demo)

Bought (upgrade from v1) and it's not working.
Interface flickers and glitches all over the place, stops making sound (or perhaps receiving MIDI input) if I drag the interface from one monitor to another requiring plugin restart, seems to leave 'trails' on interface rather than updating properly.
This is both the 64bit and 32bit versions of the plugins, tested in Reaper and Renoise on 64bit Win8.
Anyone else having similar issues? In its current state it's unusable for me (back to Kick v1 for now).

Had 1 or 2 with this issue . Trying to reproduce to see what the exact cause of it is here .
