Did not see the answer to this question:
Is the PPG Wave 3.V contains Waldorf Edition 2 or do we have to buy both to get both?
Also... If I have Waldorf Micro Q (sound module of Q) hardware, is there any benefit of buying Largo (other than not needing to turn on hardware and turn real filters knobs)? To be honest I never liked Q that much. It sounds harsh compared to let's say Novation or Virus...

If you install the NKS ready Waldorf Edition, Largo (and probably the others ) and you want them to appear in Komplete Kontrol, you have get Komplete Kontrol to rescan the plugins otherwise they will not load properly in Komplete Kontrol. Once they are rescanned the plugins load as expected within Komplete Kontrol with the presets available and tagged and the controls mapped intelligently. You also see their icons in the instrument list.
Loading the plugins directly without using Komplete Kontrol works automatically as expected.

I already ansered this yesterday. You could buy Waldorf Edition 2 and the Upgrade version of PPG Wave 3.V (AFAIK it should be possible to buy both at once while i never did this myself).aMUSEd wrote:They are separate products.Astralv wrote:Did not see the answer to this question:

Anyway at the current 50% off sale it sghould be cheaper buying both full products. Upgrades do not seem to be included with the current sale.

Thanks a lot. I am in the shopping cart, debating if I should add Waldorf Edition. Is this drum module Attack has MIDI patterns- does it have midi loops built in or is it just for sounds? I can always use nicely programmed loops but not need any sounds. Have like 5 different drums programs. Can not find the |Add to cart| or Price for PPG Wave 3.V on Waldorf web site- wanted to see how much is upgrade, but I guess they don't want to sell it...

The link for the Waldorf Shop is this (that "Shop" link is found at the top of the Waldorf website):Astralv wrote:Thanks a lot. I am in the shopping cart, debating if I should add Waldorf Edition. Anyway like i alraedy mentuioned at the current sale it should be cheaper to buy both Waldorf Edition 2 and PPG Wave 3.V as full products. The 50% off only seems to be available at NI:

Oposing to the new Attack iOS version the plugin of Attack v2 does not include a pattern sequencer or loops. You have to program it in the piano roll of your DAW or using a sequencer FX plugin.

Attack is very capable drum synthesis engine but it isn't a sequencer like spark.

When I downloaded on Thursday, LE was at 2.1, while regular Edition was at 2.2, so it must have been updated quite recently for suresprnva wrote:I noticed that LE 2 has now been updated to 2.2. Checked in Live and it no longer crashes it when closing the plugin UI
Now I need to install it again

ha, typical, I buy Nave and it's already crashed once and acting buggy after the first two minutes of using the full version.
still sounds greath though ... I'll chalk it up to a possible one-off or hopefully infrequent gremlin in the system

Which OS and host are using Nave in? I did not really have issues after the release of the Nave plugin (currently on Windows 10 and in hosts like e.g. Live and Cubase) and also during the Beta it was mostly stable.Daags wrote:ha, typical, I buy Nave and it's already crashed once and acting buggy after the first two minutes of using the full version.

The developer of Nave (not directly related to the other Waldorf plugins) is posting at a dedicated thread at KVR so you could also post there if you got problems with it:

windows 7 64bit, AMD chipset, Live 8 64 bit.
I'll clock up a couple hours pure Nave (full license) usage before I start crash/bug reporting, to see what's repeating and what's one-off/infrequent.
I had demo'd it plenty and had no such issues .... Murphy's Law, I guess.
