gettin first monitors tomorrow

hello there,
tomorrow i will have my first pair of studio monitor speakers and i am just a little bit concerned that i do not yet have the Behringer BCA2000 audio interface with 'studio' outputs - it wont be available for another month or so..
the speakers i'm gettin are active - the Behringer B2030A's - and i'm planning on just turning my Audiophile's output all the way down and connecting 'em up straight to that and see what kind of signal they want..
is this at all advisable?
it doesnt risk hurting the speakers does it?

As I have Behringer Truth B2031 reference monitors for 2 years only I could say is just buy it and you have to habbit your ears on it. Listen lots of music and production will not be strange thing
