I caught them some years back at the Palace of Fine Arts in SF. Amazing show. Those guys are the real deal for sure. I'm pretty sad about Prince too... Bowie. 2016 is shaping up to be quite the year of suck for music.

imo a profound rumination on existence beyond the surface level amusements... where antimusic becomes a kindness to the listener, with consideration, instead of mere extricative entertainment. "such a nice kid though.." one of the *nicest* recordings. in the same vein as trubee's "the communists are coming to kill us!" - there's a real *niceness* beneath the surface.deastman wrote:..the rare U2 album which I bought the day it was released.
and, certainly, articulate practitioners of the art.. though i haven't bought or heard a record for quite some time.
introduction.. someone dropped "yellow black and rectangular" into a mix..
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

My introduction was a mix tape lent to me by a friend... Probably Depeche Mode or Book of Love. But he'd forgotten that the b-side contained an episode of Over the Edge with an early version of A Big 10-8 Place. Mind = blown.xoxos wrote:imo a profound rumination on existence beyond the surface level amusements... where antimusic becomes a kindness to the listener, with consideration, instead of mere extricative entertainment.
