Good news! I found and fixed the crashes during startup which I could reproduce on my laptop.
It was due to a recent change in initialization.
Sorry about it, next update will be available later today.

tatanka: I am downloading Wusikstation V8 demo and will check these crashes.

v3.0b18 is available!

3.0Beta18 changes:

Bug fix: Crashing during loading the standalone version after new installation fixed.
Browser windows are brought to top every time they are opened
Shift+mouse wheel scrolls the workspace horizontally
Bug fix: transport problems with some VST plug-ins (EZDrummer, EZKeys, Vielklang) fixed
Bug fix: the instrument menu for the Bass preview was not updated when a new SF2 or VST instrument was added

Sadly dont fixes my problem, still crashes on start or even when starting after 4 to xxx times it crashes while trying to start play button

I haven't had time yet to check the crashes with Wusikstation, tatanka.

Just to get sure I have exchanged all the Wusikstation 8 Vst with some other ones I have used before and saved the project under a new name.

That seems to work apart from not saving the preset state in one vst (modelonia).

So might be something either in the projekt left from the last RC version or in Wusikstation 8. Now its time for me too sleep to. Good night to evrybody and all the best dreams to you Attila, you really deserve it

Whenever I double click on a phrase to edit it in the Phrase Editor, all the velocity levels for all notes is dramatically reduced. I have to adjust the velocity back to 127 for al notes. MAC

Working here now with 18, tried 15 it crashed so it was a change in 15.

Hi Attila
I notice when i have a phrase with more history entry (3/3). when i drag another phrase onto it then it change the phrase correct. when i go 1 step back in phrase history to 2/3 then previous phrase is play ok too. Now when i go back to 3/3 the new added phrase is lost and old phrase before the drag is play. should i do a video ?

I think it is also usefull to save phrases with more history entries if it is not so hard. so need not many entries in phrase store. or can use a subfolder in phrase store. so can tie fitting phrases together and later in a song can choose more easier fitting phrases. for save and load need then something to choose if all from phrase history should load or only one. for example it is possible in this way to save 5 drum patterns that fit. and when add to song can choose easy choose fill bridge etc this is also more easy for idea tool, because it can load in phrases with many versions and idea tool can choose by random or by order and the phrases fit better together

Dear Richard,

I was able to reproduce the crash with WusikStation V8. It seems the crash occurs in WusikStation, so I sent RC and a sample composition to William, explaining where and how it crashes. I think he'll be able to fix this soon. I'll update you as soon as I have more information.

Hi yellukhan,

do you remember which chord progression you dropped on the master track (chord count), and the length of the line?
There is a chance that you found a bug in the function which arranges the chords on the master track. I would love to fix this.

I am not sure that storing many phrases in the history like in a folder is a good idea. It gets confusing because it is not easy to access the phrases. I prefer saving the phrases in the browser, in groups (folders). The only function of the phrase history is not to loose any previous good phrases, when a new phrase is generated. I would not want to make it more complicated. It is much easier to access phrases in the browser. At least it should be.
