No, you can't. Unless you play Robin Hood, take the law in your hand, sell your Propellerhead account here, with all your RE's, and let someone else take over the account. Or you inform yourself in the first place, play by the rules, and buy Reason, and your RE's conscious that you cannot resell them. That way you even make sure that companies will go on developing nice music software and plugins, and are able to feed their families.

Aye, that's what sensible people do, sport. At the time I reeally wanted it and I reeally needed it but that was like 4 years ago or so; Reason 6.5. I've never bothered upgrading.Lejurai wrote:At least for now you can't. But for me it's ok. I just don't buy stuff unless I really want/need it

My trial had already ran out so I couldn't help you, but if you can't hear it - good for you.Lejurai wrote:Well did it?
I think it's quite noticeable, and compared to Subtractor that has 15+ years, that's not very flattering.

There is a newbie RE to try: https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/ ... nthesizer/
Zero Hybrid Synthesizer brings modern FM synthesis to the Reason rack. Featuring six operators with tons of waveform possibilities and a powerful algorithm matrix, you can create unique FM sounds not previously possible in Reason.
Not even with P7?
But wait there is more!: Zero also packs in additive, subtractive, and RM synthesis, flexible graphical envelopes, and three high quality on-board effects; chorus, delay, and reverb.

To some extent. PX7 only supports DX style FM with sine-wave operators.Numanoid wrote:There is a newbie RE to try: https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/ ... nthesizer/

Zero was actually released last year, it was however updated recently so that it supports copy/paste of entire operator settings, or just individual EG/partials settings.

Yeah, you are of course right, I got fooled by the date on Props webpage as release was March 30th this yeareXode wrote:Zero was actually released last year, it was however updated recently so that it supports copy/paste of entire operator settings, or just individual EG/partials settings.

Yeah, that can be misleading. I think they should have a date for release and another for updated.Numanoid wrote:Yeah, you are of course right, I got fooled by the date on Props webpage as release was March 30th this yeareXode wrote:Zero was actually released last year, it was however updated recently so that it supports copy/paste of entire operator settings, or just individual EG/partials settings.

Think this is rather new though: Solaris
Solaris is a powerful 5 oscillator synthesizer that blends 9 sampled instruments like piano, strings, brass (even didgeridoo) with 14 wavetables to create the sounds of today, all the way back to the era of 80's movie soundtracks.
Price aint too bad at $39

This is why I never bought into RE's. If there is a RE that has a VST version, I want access to that as well for paying the astronomical price I have to pay Prop for the plugin. Every other plugin on the planet comes with all versions VST/AU/RTAS so there is no reason for them not to be included in with the REs.softska wrote:Still mad no pricing setup available to dev to offer crossgrade (for ppl who own equivalent VST)
