Hey, I've been gone from this forum for a while and figured I'd say hi again by giving away a Novation Bass Station registration for free. It can no longer be purchased online (used to be $49.99 in the Novation E-Store).

It's a monophonic softsynth which is excellent for very dirty, raw basslines, like this (check the middle):


It also has some of the nicest glide/portamento I've ever heard.

Running it through analog distortion and harmonic saturation plugins is pure bliss for hip hop and electronic music, and results in the kind of sounds you'd expect from a TB-303 or Moog, etc, but with a very strong, digital vibe that really comes to life after you apply warm, analog distortion and other processing.

There's only 1 free copy, so it's first-come-first-serve. Write a one-sentence reply below explaining why you want it for free, and as soon as I see a good or funny reason (may even be the first reply), I'll announce the winner in the thread and contact them by PM with the registration code.
