Its kinda cool, but to be honest Studio one 3 already has similar features implemented so i'll pass. I wonder how it stacks up against MUX?

btw it's a host really - loads instruments and fx and is also an instrument and fx plugin.

Just to be totally upfront here... I can say now that at this point we have no plans for bit-bridging. It is a lot of development effort, plus adds CPU and latency to the processing. So its hard to justify it in 2016 (for a new product like Freestyle) as most plugins and DAW's are 64bit anyway these days.Obex wrote:Looks interesting. What I'd want to know is if the 64-bits version can host 32-bits VST plugins. Until then I'm sticking with Reaper.
But also, Freestyle isn't intended to replace Reaper (or any DAW), it's rather a 'sub-host', for use inside your DAW (or as standalone in a live context).

I like this type of company since the day of Granite, for the easy to use, cpu friendly and effective design of the products. Especially since they're integrating everything. First, all products are integrated well in Freestyle, later on Nuance features Vice Import and now the latest update of Freestyle features Convert to Nuance with a special offer for a free Nuance. I'm excited to see the future of Freestyle and the company.
