MIDI Learn using Rhino in Orion

Hi All!

Am new to this great forum and virtual music world and can use a little help. I am aware that this may well be a question better put to Synapse, but I am asking in both places to get a quicker response.

I have all Orion MIDI IN controls set to on, but Rhino will not respond to any MIDI controls in the MIDI Learn mode.

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong or is there a compatability issue that I am unaware of?

Rhino responds to MIDI notes, pitch bend and sustain, but not to MIDI learn (it works in stand-alone mode, but not as as VST in Orion). I am using a Yamaha S-80 as a controller.

Try this:

On the menu at the top of the synth, click the "opt" button (look like a gear). Choose "config", set automation type to "MIDI CC". That works for me!
