The beforementioned [Kyaer:hoos] comes close enough.

and I'm danish...

...so I should know! :wink:
Looks like we have a winner. Surely you can't beat a native tongue.

My money's on pough, because he has a friend whose mother speaks Icelandic, which to my ear sounds pretty close to Danish....

I say, post your mp3s and let's have a poll. Highest vote wins. Rules:

1. No higher than 128kbits
2. No longer than two minutes (It only should take a second to pronounce, but this rule is for those who tend to drinks a bit).

But then, we still haven't figured out how to pronounce "pough" or what KvR stands for, so ignore this post (as usual).

Danish is a very degenerative version of Icelandic, very degenerative. Old Norweagian comes closer to Icelandic that Danish, I think.

I'm from Denmark so i think i can help here heh heh

To pronounce Kjaerhus you would need to combine stuff from 3 words:

Kill (without the ll)
Yeah
Who's

So that makes Ki->yeah-whos

:D

I’m not Danish but I hear Danish spoken often enough and I’d say subSOLID has delivered the best approximation so far.

K’yeah-hoos

Generally tho, what the Danes do to their ”r”:s defies all description. :hihi:
