I even think there's a 3rd similarly named thread even, to add to the confusion... :P

This one is the latest thread but some people seem to reply in older ones as they maybe bookmarked those.
Maybe time to check if i could close 1 or 2 of the old ones.

It was the cross-thread quoting that threw me - that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :D

Oh, it's fair enough that there's the other threads i guess. After all this is about the current sale, and the "NKS readiness" of the Waldorf plugins, while the others are about the latest updates and stuff.

How stable is waldorf largo in Bitwig on OSX? I've used up my Demo time a long time ago when i was a live user.

Seems to work nicely here with the 64-bit VST2 in Bitwig Studio 1.3.9 at Windows 10 64-bit but i could not check at OSX here.

I posted in the two threads because I thought they are about different topics (kind of). This one is about the 50% sale and the other thread is about Updating the plugins.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

This is mostly about the NKS updates and not just the sale. BTW teh Sale seems to end to day and i will remove that from the thread title then.

So far i did not read many comments about the NKS implementation here (especially in combination with the hardware controllers like Komplete Kontrol S or Maschine) which was what i and Waldorf is mostly interested at the moment and new updates (for both NKS support and certain bug fixes) are already planned.

To be honest, I'm not so interested in NI Kontrol S keys. I think the combination of my blofeld/BeatStep can do a better job when I map the synths manually.

Anyway, good luck to Waldorf. I really like their products and in my opinion if they keep the current discounted prices and change into more friendly protection (like Arturia or NI themselves!), I predict lots of sales. Anyway, they should know their marketing and targeting audience better than I do.

So, related to the sale, yes I'm very happy to have Largo at last, although I still prefer slightly the sound of blofeld, but nothing can beat the easiness of a wonderful GUI in a soft synth :D

I was seriously thinking of getting Largo at this great sale price (wondering why I hadn't gotten it sooner) and then I realized why I hadn't. It's 32 bit.

And please, before anybody says it should work fine on my PC, don't. I've had so many problems with 32 bit VSTs that I had to get rid of almost all of them.

Shame, because this things sounds really cool.

Then why does it say THIS on the sale page?
Largo runs natively in 32 bit host software. It can be used in 64 bit hosts that come with a so-called ‘bit bridge’, such as Cubase 6 or Logic 9. Later versions of Largo will run natively in 64 bit hosts.
** EDIT ** I even went to the Waldorf site and there it says 32 bit also. If this plugin is actually now 32 and 64 bit wouldn't it be nice of them to update their sales pages?

But we already had that in the other thread. :P They need to update the description on their website. I run the 64-bit version of Largo on Windows here. Trust me. For Mac, it's also 64-bit. Since years i think.

Hey, I'm old. I don't remember old threads. LOL.

Okay, I'll take your word for it. Thing sounds amazing. Those filters. Wow.
