If it was about me, everybody should just name EVERY track they're posting properly (read: not only in the contests).
OK, I am pretty much used to give them my own names (usually I add some "artistname - " before the title, but it'd be just easier to keep track of what you allready downloaded when I didn't had to add anything by my own.
Take Donkey Tugger as an example: All his tracknames start with donkeyt. Good man!

I must admit, I never thought of that.
I mean, I tag all my mp3's so that my id and song title show up in the mp3 player itself; but to name the file itself so someone could quickly find it on their hd is a revelation.

... im with sasch here ...

... all my (admittedly few) uploads use this format ...

... and i rename ALL my downloads to the format artistname---tracktitle.mp3 and then tag accordingly (if its not already done) ...

... obvious surely ???
