are you asking if jack or oss is multi-output? because jack most definitely is. Any application can present any number of input/output channels which are routed here and there through the jack server.

Sounds great news as i,ve finnally given up with using windows for my music setup.To unstable and a system hog.
Just started getting the hang on linux and it seems very promising.Like the abiltiy to customize your system so much more than windows.
