It's not criticism when you post irrelevant things like: "So adding another 50 bucks will buy a proper Nexus with double the sample content" after the situation was previously explained. If anything, I've been pretty critical myself in this thread. You're just looking to instigate arguing and get under people's skin for whatever reason.

It's called risk-taking. :D
Tedannemann Thank you! Just bought it, it did turn out 199 usd but.. I Freaking LOVE this thing! I was on a hunt for bread and butter pads and plucks for way long, this thing is perfect, and to say more he is exactly right EVERY sound in this thing is great, no fillers just down right usable, No bells No whistles and No BS either, If you need great EDM samples this is it, and really cool how they don't mask the sounds under a cloud of effects.. all supper dry and great. I do not own Nexus, I own just about everything else tho, including virus ti and Roland jdxa, and I'm seeing myself using this very often!

Thanks again... largely bought because of your comments

Paul

P.S. The way these sounds are treated it sounds like they will easily fit in the mix remember good al RP Albino?
Mac pro 12 core,ULN8,Burl B2bomber,UAD Octo,Dramastic Obsedian,Avedis md7m Access virus TI, Moog Little Phatty, Roland JDXA. And Oodles of useless samples

Dare I say a demo with a limited soundset would probably help a lot in sales, good luck to them , competition is always a good thing.

Just found this
Mac Studio M4
15.7.3
Cubase 15, Ableton Live 12

It seems like the most likely people to make a video unprompted are those who know what they're doing the least :D.

Can't even tell you how many Youtube reviews for microphones and vocal processors start with "I'm really not much of a singer..." and proceed to test the beautiful, clear frequency response of a condenser microphone by mushy mumbling and mouth noise.

EDIT: Also here's the audio demo from the BPB review, for convenience https://soundcloud.com/bedroomproducers ... l-vst-demo

Heh. Yes. On the other hand, I hate hearing a 30 second snippet of high end polished overproduced awesomeness that someone worked for months on to perfect for the release demo.

Hope I am not intruding but, another hidden gem is vengeance sound phalanx. I love it! I am also intrigued by lethal. It well may be worth over $199 but, a little intro price goes along way.

I am wondering about this $150 price. Did anybody actually get it for $150? I saw this thread the day it was released, and the price was already $200. If it was $150, I would buy it right away. In fact- I was looking for a Birthday present to myself. Few years ago I got to buy Omnesphere, this year... I bought few Kontakt libraries... Could be Lethal, but how come we all did not get $150 price? Mistake or not- if somebody got it at $150, why not make it $150 for few weeks so that the rest of us who did not see this price get it, to be fair. Introduction price would be great!

There's an in-depth review that was just posted to Gearslutz for anyone interested:

My paypal account shows that I purchased it for $155.
Intel Pentium I7-8700 64GB
Sonar, Ableton Live 9, Maschine, Zebra, Diva, Lush-101, DCAM Synth Squad, Synthmaster, Sylenth1, Komplete Ultimate, Steven Slate Drums, Rob Papen synths, Spire, Imposcar 2, Korg Legacy, Diversion, ABL Pro, Z3ta, Poly-Ana

Yes I paid just over $150. This was due to PP being configured to take $199 AUS dollars rather than US. This is now fixed.
An intro price would be a good idea before free sample packs start appearing.

I would buy it right now for $155. I have the cash ready to go!

Lethal, if you are willing to do an into price please let me know and I will send payment.

fallacy wrote:Apparently its a FAQ as to whether the synth is hardware:
"16. Is Lethal a hardware synthesizer?

Lethal is not a hardware synthesizer. It is an extremely powerful software plugin, coded upon rom-based technology similar to how some hardware synthesizers work.

The image shown on the homepage of our site is an artist’s 3D render model only."

So... Whos the target audience?!
Target audience - newbies, beginners, or just musicians who prefer using presets :)
coded upon rom-based technology similar to how some hardware synthesizers work.
I cant believe anyone would believe this

p.s. this rompler looks ugly, tho definatly not slashing of the product. It may be great, but the advertisment and FAQ is really pompous in not a good way.

Anybody with Kontakt can get Shortnoise for free: http://vstbuzz.com/freebies/shortnoise/
This library is so terrible. Downloaded out of curiosity. After checking patches, i felt like i wasted 5 minutes of my life more then doing nothing. This library is not worth downloading even for free. Kontakt 5 has much ten times better sounding patches in its Factory Content.

Why? Are the M1, SQ80 etc. not hardware synths?
