Hi Attila,

Does the "UI scaling" on the roadmap include being able to move the Inspectors (Phrase, Structure, etc.) to a second monitor? I can do this with the Chord Palette, but not the others.

Please pardon my laziness in not scanning this entire thread for an answer, but I do have one question. Is there any plan to support the .sfz soundfont format? I use both .sf2 and sfz soundfonts in my compositions, slowly gravitating towards .sfz these days.

Good question. I have checked the possibility of supporting .sfz a few months ago. I found it was too much work, so at the moment I would not undertake this task. I am not saying that it will never be supported, but many planned features and improvements have higher priority. Until then you need to use one of the sfz player VST plug-ins.

Hi Attila , would it be possible to add a "comments" button to the master track ... Scale - Tempo - Signature - COMMENT as I often want a reminder of what I have done.

Interesting. I am thinking that we could add a lyrics and a comment 'track' which could be enabled and disabled when not in use. So this would be added together with the lyrics track in a next version.

I am not really sure if it is possible already and I just could not figure out how to or if it is a request, so I just ask. What I want to do with the idea tool:

- normally I split a "raw" song coming from RC with complete tracks in my daw (mulab or tracktion) into parts depending on song structure and then mute/delete parts to get motion/song development into it

- of course it would be much nicer to get that structure (at least a raw one, finetuning in daw will ever be needed I think) from the idea tool in RC already

- for that I would need a button/opinion to only get for example evry second or third or fourth or whatever bar get produced by the idea tool

So for example: in the first idea tool part, lets say 8 bars long, melody on all 8 bars, piano beginning from second bar and only evry second bar, bass starting from fourth bar and then evry bar, pad starting at four and evry fourth part and so on for next song parts.

Hope you get the general idea of that.

Is that kind of workflow already possible and if how ? And if not, would it be possible to implement kind of that thing ?

now the request: would it be possible to have a "omit 5" button (to avoid the 5th of a chord?) like instead of a 1-3-5-7 chord we have the choice of playing 1-3-7 ?

this sounds complicated.
Do you want to generate every 2nd or 4th bar using the idea tool? What happens with phrases that are longer, should those be split at bar boundaries?
Or maybe I misunderstood it, and you would like to 'extract' all X+n*Y'th bar from an existing composition?

this is a good idea. It reminded me that I planned to add 'chord variations', which can transform/replace chords on the master track in a non-destructive way.

sorry for being to confusing in my description. What I want to do is just exactly as you guessed:

I must admit I did not even thought about:

What happens with phrases that are longer, should those be split at bar boundaries?

So it might be more complicated then I guessed.....or it is maybe not the right approach to do what I was thinking about. Just replace/prepare this "split, mute delete clips" work in my daw for song development.

Maybe "make x bars break before next repeat of generated phrase" would do the same. Or just "make x break as long as the phrase is".

But maybe just to complicated, so nothing to worry about, just a thought.

I'd like to confirm that the Safe Loading mode gave me access to my song which crashed upon opening! So this was indeed likely to be due to a compatibility issue with one/some of the VSTi's I was using! Thank you for this feature!
