The scripting interface in it and the capabilities are pretty nice. I've been playing with it a good bit.
I wonder how sound designers like Evil Dragon and similar may react to it.

Finally!
You can now record to layers and not have the layers open taking up half of the screen.
Go them

Yeah, I guess. I built a basic website at the same time I was feeling my way through the scripting interface. They use JavaScript which every potential sound designer / instrument scripter dude or dudette probably already knows well enough.fedexnman wrote:Hopefully we will see some YouTube tutorials on this Presence XT editor .
The pages below are more of a basic scripting overview for people who've never scripted and my budget hosting service can be slow at times. Actually haven't shared it anywhere yet...

New update fixed about a dozen documented crashes I had with S1. Excellent.
Looking forward to giving it a proper go.

The XT Editor is badly needed, great to see that added
But is it included in Studio One, or need to be bought separatly?
And is it only compatible with Studio One Pro?

seems like it has a price tag that reads "around 85EUR" ...Numanoid wrote:The XT Editor is badly needed, great to see that added![]()

So it is an add on for Studio One 3 Pro, and not included ?kylie wrote:seems like it has a price tag that reads "around 85EUR" ...Numanoid wrote:The XT Editor is badly needed, great to see that added![]()

I get a price for Studio One Pro (incl VAT) at about €450, so adding that brings the price up further...

with springtime discount on ADLX it's USD330 that translates to slightly below EUR300. they don't seem to collect VAT. presonus shop does, and they even want EUR475. thomann says EUR389. it's not like you have no choice...Numanoid wrote:So it is an add on for Studio One 3 Pro, and not included ?kylie wrote:seems like it has a price tag that reads "around 85EUR" ...Numanoid wrote:The XT Editor is badly needed, great to see that added![]()

No of course not, but for example with the likes of NN-XT sampler in Reason, a user do not need to buy an additional add on to be able to edit samples, buying the DAW gives that ability straight awaykylie wrote:with springtime discount on ADLX it's USD330 that translates to slightly below EUR300. they don't seem to collect VAT. presonus shop does, and they even want EUR475. thomann says EUR389. it's not like you have no choice...

Really surprised and a bit disappointed they have not gone to town on the Mix Engine FX - seemed like we would be seeing new fx to add to the range but so far there has been no visible development which is a bit strange really.

That's absurd, it should have come with that from the start.kylie wrote:seems like it has a price tag that reads "around 85EUR" ...Numanoid wrote:The XT Editor is badly needed, great to see that added![]()

I know what you mean. well, it's a different approach, then (might be directed towards sound designers). I admit that I don't even use it.Numanoid wrote:No of course not, but for example with the likes of NN-XT sampler in Reason, a user do not need to buy an additional add on to be able to edit samples, buying the DAW gives that ability straight awaykylie wrote:with springtime discount on ADLX it's USD330 that translates to slightly below EUR300. they don't seem to collect VAT. presonus shop does, and they even want EUR475. thomann says EUR389. it's not like you have no choice...
