Can anyone tell me why I should spend $99 for a Geist 2 upgrade?

Indeed, 2 packs a day keeps the doctor away, mine are Luckies, will they mail them to me?

Its way better than v1, sounds better and much easier to navigate. Definitely worth an upgrade.

Transmod system.
In Geist 1 there is virtually no modulation. It's very sparse. Now you can do all sorts of awesome stuff. And this yields organic not boring drums sounds.
By far the biggest improvement to me. And also the envelopes aren't a tragedy to work with anymore.

For me the modulation system is one of the big things. It allows you to get a pseudo round robin effect by modulating pitch and predelay. I've only messed around with it for about an hour, but so far things seem much better.

I upgraded to Geist 2 today. I haven´t discovered every new feature yet but I can tell directly from the GUI that the modulation capabilities are exactly what I needed. It opens up a lot of possibilities when making professional EDM loops that are constantly evolving. And it does so in a very efficient way. A bigger and resizable GUI is also very nice.
Try the demo first, but I am sure you will love it and make a decision to upgrade.

If you needed new shoes that bad, you could have done an intro offer where the prices were cheaper for a limited time.Amberience wrote:Buy it. So I can get new shoes.

In the picture I expanded Geist 2 to almost full screen. A very useful feature. Geist 1 was simply too small for me.
