Well, I opened a support ticket, but it's a weekend, so I'll have to wait until Monday to see what's up.

Until then, this is the look of horror I'll be wearing on my face...

110% :o

I wonder what kind of super computer Music Tech was using when reviewing it? If they can't even detect CPU spikes, they got no business backing it up they way they do.

This is on a Mac see specs below, your scenario is system specific unfortunately. IDK but a lot of these types of things come down to graphics cards and drivers these days.

But a dev need to have got that covered

That's the benefit of releasing a Kontakt instrument or Reaktor effect as it is "sandboxed"

Not if you see the cost of it :D Fortunately as Macs in general use a small set of hardware components for graphics/CPU etc, issues with different hardware sets are easier to nail down as opposed to PC which can have a huge variance in components. No excuse for Output not beta testing this enough though. The real test is how quickly they fix your issue as I am sure its not unique and totally OTT.

I do have an older "ghetto" Pavillion g6, but I've managed to use several modern plugins without too much problem. Perhaps some kind of multi-core processing is in order...and that GUI takes up a lot of memory too. Just using the XY pad causes me to freeze up. I don't need it to look amazing. I need it to sound amazing. Less eye candy. More functionality.

Movement looks interesting enough to me but I am wondering if there are
other VST fx that are similar.

Output support contacted me two days ago. I gave them a screenshot of my system info.

Still waiting for a reply...

Just playing around with it and I like it. A bit different from the other sound mangler/destruction, more of a subtle processing with complex modulation. As the name implied, a useful tool just to add some movement to a beat or other sound. Complimenting each other nicely with a more extreme plugin like Trash 2. It's almost like a replacement of Camelphat/space with a cleaner interface. Hopefully they will develop it further with more type of distortion/decimator/bit crusher, dirtier delay type, more aggressive filter and other type of unique effects. It has a lot of potential with future update. I've been waiting for a software version of Kaoss Pad Quad, which is my main processor when doing live performance. It would be great if it's being developed to that direction. I'm also using Turnado/Ableton Rack/Stutter Edit/Glitch 2/Looperator/other mangler. Nothing can replace the KP Quad for now. The first time I saw Movement has a big X - Y Pad with deep modulation and an ability to control all fx from the main interface, I know that it's my type of stuff.

Love the GUI but between LFO Tool, Camel Space and Tantra I have this reasonably well covered
