Is anybody else having stability problems on Windows? Tried then on Win8.1 Pro as vst and also as standalone. They're extreemly unstable. They hang all the time and all over it. Does not make any difference what I do. Change a preset or just a parameter. It seems to help a bit to switch from ASIO (Komplete Audio 6 here) to Windows Audio driver. But also get crashes and hangs (application not responding) in that combination. Seems like Arturia did very small amounts of beta testing if anything at all. Very, very sad...

I am in Windows, and don't have any issues. Are you running a standard Windows, or did you perform some "tweaks" to the system? The plug-ins are not unstable at all here.paulbreeze wrote:Is anybody else having stability problems on Windows? Tried then on Win8.1 Pro as vst and also as standalone. They're extreemly unstable. I went through the same thing. It's very useable now, you can read the labels. Sound is the same.JohnD71651 wrote:Question to others: I have the Arp 2600 V2 and the upgrade to V3 is very cheap $10. Still, I wonder: Should I upgrade or not?
Has the sound changed or is it just cosmetic?

Why would they have rushed the release? There is no big music fair ahead, is there?
I don't think all the issues people are mentioning here will help that company's reputation, which has never been excellent to begin with...
Maybe they are too big to be thorough

The GUI and the new preset browser are the interesting parts but they are a bit buggy and not working correctly on some hosts like Cubase.
If the GUI is already big enough as with most of the newer synth (Matrix, SEM but also the Prophet or Mini V) it's not needed to update IMO. I would recommend to update the CS80, Jupiter8, Moog Modular or if the preset browser is an important thing.
The Synclavier is nice but I played some hours with it and don't think it's such an important synth in 2016 so only for the Synclavier I would not update.

Yes they seem very stable to me too (also on Mac). It's always going to be the case that releases to Windows users will have many more use cases that go beyond the setups beta testers would have had access to so there are bound to be some problems but I haven't had anything major so far, just the slight annoyance about preset banks that is already being dealt with and a few presets with stuck notes.
