Has the sound changed or is it just cosmetic?
Don't underestimate cosmetic, I believe the sound hasn't changed (except for the Mini V filter) but I am appreciating the sound more because I am diving into it more and because of that noticing more how great it can sound. So in a way it does feel like a new plugin with a new lease of life - the sound may not have changed but my relationship with the plugin has. This is a great update!

+1

Sound C loud
Band C amp
Clicks and pops is all I get

Big GUI and all is quite nice, but I noticed that on my laptop (15'') the old GUIs look better. The v5 I have to resize to 60 to fit them, and the colors seems a bit washed out compared to v4.

No tweaks. Standard Win 8.1 Pro install. Don't have any problems with my other plugins.
Athlon64 X2 6000+ CPU, x64 system w. 8Gb ram.

Wow, that's quite a weak processor for music applications

I had a similar processor in my old desktop PC. But, yep, happy to have something quicker now. :P

Although technically it is above the minimum required, I think your CPU may not be up to the task.

Probably. But I have to note it works fine with other (incl. u-he's) VSTs. And it's not a must have for me to run Diva in divine mode :hihi: ...

Regarding Arturias stuff. If they work, they work fine. But I'm not so sure that an oldtimer CPU (from around 2007) should cause application hangs (not responding) or another crashes. This seems to be more related to faulty programming on their side.

Windows machines are so diverse that there's always a chance there's a system incomptatible. But I am running them in two Windows systems (Windows 7 and Windows 10) without problems, so

Why without Sampleoption ?

paulbreeze wrote:Is anybody else having stability problems on Windows? Tried then on Win8.1 Pro as vst and also as standalone. They're extreemly unstable. They hang all the time and all over it. Does not make any difference what I do. Change a preset or just a parameter. It seems to help a bit to switch from ASIO (Komplete Audio 6 here) to Windows Audio driver. But also get crashes and hangs (application not responding) in that combination. Seems like Arturia did very small amounts of beta testing if anything at all. Very, very sad... :(
Are you finding all of them unstable or just a couple specific ones?

I have no major problems with them on Windows 8.1 i7 with 8GB of RAM.

All of them behave more or less the same (maybe an underlying engine issue). If I switch to Windows Audio output they work more stable. When they work, they work well. No CPU issues, whatsoever. Then if I change ie. the preset or some GUI parameters or ASIO parameters (if I try to use ASIO) the window freezes, Windows displays "not responding" in the title (but I'm able to kill the program via task manager). Eventually it also get's back to normal after some time (also happened while testing). So I'm not so sure this is only a low-end CPU issue...

Well, i don't have stability issues whatsoever. However, on a Windows PC, it could be anything. (i do use windows btw)
