what would Mutant know about the analogue synth market ? he spends most of his time molesting vst freebies.

Post

There must be at least some overlap in the market.
Are you trying to tell me that none of Matrixbrute potential customers would rather add another 1500$ and have a synth they dreamt about for the last 30 years, but decided to not buy because they were afraid of reliability issues and constant driving with it to the nearest synth tech in the next city and because the prices were kinda ridiculous at 8000$ ?

At any time there is only a limited amount of money in any market, Moog Music will take a big chunk off of that cake now (Dave Smith and Tom Oberheim already did with the OB-6).

I didn't really think it would matter who releases what, but since I was putting in a pre-order for a Model-D, I asked.
The dealer said they could sell as many Matrix as they could get. The waiting list is far longer than their allocation. But, they are worried about returns because of reliability issues, more than they are about their ability to get them out the door to begin with.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

I had a chance to test it. The workflow is very cool, but I'd expect more crazy goodness for audio rate modulation. If it's analogue, give us all the bandwidth, make all VCOs and VCFs available as sources s'il vous plaît :)

I'll be a bit blasphemous and say that to me Matrixbrute looks and sounds much more interesting than the Model D/Reissue.

Just sounds really 'vanilla' to me - can't really describe it more than that. Doesn't really have much character imo. Mind you I didn't like either of the smaller offerings from Arturia.

Hey guys, I just want to said that so far I really don't get it. 2000$ ? I own a microbrute, I like it but I feel that at the end, it always sound the same, the same metalizer sound. And so far, all the video I watch about MATRIXBRUTE is sound all the same metalizer sound with a lot of option. And is it just me but the design of the MATRIXBRUTE look very ugly?

No offense, I just speak my mind.

Cheers
