You might need to change the MIDI channel for the REAKTOR ensemble.

I don't think that's his problem,prog-he's saying the meters are showing activity(good to see you posting more again,BTW :) )
You haven't said if you're trying to run Reaktor as an effect or synth(or what version of Reaktor you're using, for that matter). My first guess would be(if you've updated Reaktor recently)is that Cubase is looking at the wrong .dll.Look at the properties of the Reaktor .dll in the folder where Cubase is looking to see if it's the right version. If it's an older version than what you're using-that's your problem.
Quickest way to fix it if that's the case is to do a search for Reaktor.dll on your machine, and delete them all. Now,run the updater again and only install the VST plug.Use the browse to option and browse to the correct folder.Install.

Its always best to run the latest update :)

Do you see the mixer channel for Reaktor in the Cubase mixer? Is it showing a signal there too?

it shows 8 channells of reaktor in the cubase mixer but non has any signal
i reaaly can't guess what it needs
do i have to put in any special modules in reaktor?
i do 3 things
1)open reaktor vst from the vst instruments window
2)asign a midi channel to rektor
3)open a synth in reaktor and connect it 2 the 2 channells of audio out unit
as i said reaktor shows an audio output signal but it doesn't go to cubase

i have exactly the same problem myself, im interested in a solution, u tried reaktor in standalone mode, mine works fine on its own but in cubase nothin,
everythin is set up correctly, reaktor shows activity but no audio is output...

You have to have the record enable button (circular button with the red dot in the middle) AND the monitor button (circle with the speaker icon in the middle) clicked on in order to hear Reaktor.

Ah...thanks Lazlo.I'm not a Cubase user,so I don't have any idea of how to work with it.
My update suggestion's still a good one, especially if your installer's the original 4.0 version-that was a buggy piece of software.

i've tried these but it doesn't help
it doesn't need any special module or something to run as a vst does it?

Well, version 4.12 definitely works; I have it running with Cubase SX 2.2 on my machine right now and hear it beautifully. Cubase can be a little funky at first in setting up VSTi playback, but Reaktor (if you load an instrument rather than an effect Ensemble) is no different than any other VSTi.
