Wasn't the Reason 2 and 2.5 instruments done by a diffeent person than the Reason graphics. I remember seeing the person that did the Reason 1 graphics on this forum sometime after I first registered.

Over on the Props' Feature Suggestion board there's a thread with a "screen shot" of a fake module to be called "modcon," done by strangelet. Sort of an ultra modulation signal source. All black and glowing red. Mrrr. I want it.

Interesting... don't know. The 2.5 effects seem to me a little more wasteful of panel space, but only where there's some to spare. Maybe that's an indicator?

The picture does not even show up for me. Maybe becaue of the restrictions and protections I have set in the browser or forum setup. I do guess that the person that made this post is probably the person that made the picture and web site.

Probably not. The Props play their cards close to the vest. I know three things about Reason 3:

1) I want it, even before knowing what they're putting in there this time, because in the past they've always made my fur stand on end;

2) as is their stated policy, the Props won't announce what's up until it's about ready to go into beta -- both to avoid release date disappointments and to guarantee the developers and testers have time to make it really really good; and

3) whatever they add and improve, it will have been engineered by a team that cares about, and listens to, its customers. I love 'em. Or had y'all guessed that? :-D

I hope (and think) it's a fake.. it's just not of the same standard, not even the same style or graphics

that module isn't special enough anyway..
propellerheads would come up with something more ground breaking

Hm, seems likely. *ahem*

M. or Mlle. or Mme. l'Artiste... keep an eye open for details! Pay attention to the spacing between boxes. Space them evenly and uniformly. Look at lettering critically; be sure it's uniform (some is heavy, some is light).

Finally, a challenge: there's an easy way to fake the masking tape so the lettering looks perfectly authentic. Do you know it? :-)

A right click on the image, go to the root of the picture site. It's coming from a page of a guy that does pretty darn good graphic renderings (that lil chick is awefully cute!

) So, my vote it's a fake.

bravo!! to all of you.
Of course it's a crappy fake. and i must admit it's not very well done. in fact i am actually working in a newspaper but had so few to do that i thougnt about this joke. Too bad i am not enough of a perfectionnist.

shame on me and my family...
But I 'm happy some people found my chicken well rendered...
