I'm not sure that is the problem, it's more that it doesn't turn at all much of the time, you usually have to mouse drag on it several times to even get it to move.

Second crash in logic changing presets

Same crash now in Studio One v3 - it seems to be switching presets around 21-22 that does it. Also NI Kore 2 doesn't want to see it.

edit narrowed it down to 22 - I can load 22 if I load it first but then when I switch to any other preset I get a crash, I also get a crash if I switch to 22 from the preceding preset.

Any idea why some hosts seem to completely ignore it? eg Tracktion 7 and Kore 2 both don't scan it in, T7 even if I drag it manually onto the plugin panel still refuses to recognise it as a plugin.

Numerology had this problem too but that was fixed. The dev said it was due to some API changes Apple did a while back for loading audio units, but I don't have the details. Could be the same, if those hosts cannot load the AU sample code it's likely the same issue.

Another possibility is if they require "sandboxed" plugins:

No they definitely don't require sandboxing, Kore 2 is quite old so it probably isn't uptodate with APIs but I'd expect Tracktion 7 to be as it's pretty new.

Would be good if the promo ran a bit longer, I mean this has literally just come out in a form non El Cap users can access, and it still has problems in some DAWs (in fact in my main ones). Not much time to really evaluate this.

That seems to be the name they have, and only half have actual presets. The preset system is a bit unclear, not sure if these are standard aupresets as Logic doesn't show them in the library.
